Really not bothered about seeing it again. The fact that it isn't there all the time is also a little odd. In short, ScreenX is a state-of-the-art atmospheric experience, which surrounds you in your seat with an innovative 270° projection. It is immersive in the sense that there's more going on but once you have seen it once, it just becomes repetitive and underwhelming, arguably a little distractive. As an example, if the film is showing a car driving down a road, the walls might be pavement/houses etc. In general, iMax offers a better experience because the images are set on the same wall, which is much more fluid. But in terms of immersive experience, none of them fail at all. While the ScreenX offers you a 270 degrees field of view, the iMax provides with 70-degrees. The idea is that the image is in your peripheral vision and more immersive. Both ScreenX and IMAX are pretty advanced technologies for watching movies. The picture quality s not as good as that projecting on the front screen but it doesn't, per say, have to be. In essence, imagine a normal cinema except parts (not all) of the film are projected onto the side walls that stretch right to the back of the cinema. Screen X is, in my opinion, one such gimmick.
